It’s a TITLE WAVE!
Keep your eyes on the prize and the giant wave at the front desk at Maxwell Memorial Library as we
add up how many books children read this summer.
We challenge you and your family to read 3,000 books by August!
We’ll celebrate with a Beach Party August 11!
Make a Splash, Read!
Our Summer Reading Program, for kids up to grade 5, encourages reading for fun. Please sign up at
the front desk starting June 14 to receive a registration packet, which includes a book recording
sheet to earn prizes each week, and a coupon from Carol’s Polar Parlor!
Make Waves at Maxwell Memorial Library!
Our Teen Summer Reading Program for kids 6th grade through 12th grade. Keep track of how many
pages read each week and earn a chance at fabulous raffle prizes, including SU game tickets, New
York State Fair tickets, and gift certificates. Sign up starts June 14 at the front desk.
Wild Wednesdays! Every Wednesday at 6 p.m. from June 30 to August 11.
Families with children of all ages are invited to enjoy our free programs that will include wacky
magicians, amazing musicians, and fabulous storytellers and artists.
No registration is required.

The MOST kicks off Wild Wednesdays with a program so fun you won’t know you’re learning. More
importantly, neither will the kids.

Every Friday at 11:00 a.m. for children ages 5-10 from July 2 to August 13.
This is a fun craft and story program with an emphasis on water in and around our world.

Friday Fun for Teens! Friday, August 6 at 11:00 a.m. - Creating Comics!
This final Friday Fun craft session is just for teens. Learn how to make your own comic or graphic
novel online! Artist Kathie Maniaci will take you through an online comic program. Bring your own
laptop if you have one, but it’s not required.
