Maxwell Memorial Library has joined Library Ideas’ network of public library websites that offer
access to songs from Sony Music’s catalog of legendary artists. The Freegal Music service allows
Maxwell to offer patrons access to a music collection with hundreds of thousands of songs
in virtually all genres. Under the terms of the agreement, registered cardholders of Maxwell
Library can download up to three Sony Music tracks in the MP3 format for free each week and
keep the songs in your personal collection forever! Here’s how to do it:

1. Make sure your OCPL library card is registered at Maxwell Memorial Library, and that it
has a 4-digit PIN, or password.
2. Click on the Freegal icon to access the Sony Music library of songs.
3. Follow instructions for downloading.
