All ages of homeschoolers are invited to the “Learn About Your Library” program on Friday, February 17, at 10:30 a.m. We’ll discuss everything from the catalog system to our collections to databases available for quality research. Please come with any questions you may have about how the library can help you and ideas for other programs.

Do you love jewelry and the art of making your own? Join jewelry maker Sarah Holden at Maxwell Memorial Library in Camillus for a designed for teens. Holden, owner of the shop Eat It or Bead It in Jordan, will teach you about color choices and bead styles, and you will craft something of your own to take home.jewelry-making workshop.
The workshop takes place Friday, February 24, at 10:30 a.m.

Children ages 9 to 11, along with a parent or older family member, are invited to join
together for exciting discussions about books and the world in which we live. The
group will meet the second Wednesday of every month.
At this initial meeting, the first book selection will be chosen.

This new book club, just for young people in middle school, will meet the fourth
Wednesday of every month to have pizza and talk books. Bring your ideas and your love of reading, and Maxwell Library will provide the food and drink.

English Lit students and teachers will want to check out a new series of audio CDs introducing classic works of literature. Each CD is under 45 minutes long and talks about one book, with excerpts and helpful critical analyses. They are located in the Adult Literacy section. To find them in the catalog, do a title search for “an introduction to” and limit format to “Nonmusical recording.”
