K-2 children. No registration necessary. Free

Saturday Stories with Miss Kelly - for ages 1 - 4 years, 10:30 a.m.
Children’s librarian Kelly Chambala is adding a new Saturday Storytime for children ages 1 to 4.  
It meets on Saturdays at 10:30 a.m. No registration is required.
Parents or guardians participate with the children.
ON VACATION

Monday, August 30 at 6:00 p.m.

A book club for children ages 9 to 12 and a parent or other adult.
All read the same book and then join in a lively discussion.
This month’s selection is The True Confessions of Charlotte Doyle, by Avi.
July’s book will be ready to check out, so bring your library card.
No registration required.

English Literature Students and Teachers
English Lit students and teachers will want to check out a new series of audio CDs introducing classic works of
literature. Each CD is under 45 minutes long and talks about one book, with excerpts and helpful critical analyses.
They are located in the Adult Literacy section. To find them in the catalog, do a title search for “an introduction to”
and limit format to “Nonmusical recording.”
